Start with a verifiable core loop
A useful creator request is not a feature pile. It names a loop a player can experience, then lets theme, difficulty, and visuals support that loop.
- Name one player verb, one readable route, and one finish reward.
- Use checkpoints to turn failure into an understandable retry.
- Treat moving platforms, hazards, and save behavior as testable requirements.
Turn an idea into a test plan
Sketch the route in three beats: an easy first jump that teaches movement, a middle section that introduces one new hazard, and a final challenge that combines known moves. Place checkpoints before difficulty spikes, not after every jump. Decide whether coins are optional exploration rewards or required progress. In Studio, test the route from a fresh spawn, fail deliberately, and confirm the checkpoint and finish reward behave as planned.
Copyable Obby prompt
Create a candy Roblox Obby. Start with simple platforms, introduce moving platforms in the middle, then combine moving platforms and hazards near the end. Put a checkpoint before the hard section, add optional coins, and reward the finish. Show the plan first; after building I will test respawn and rewards in Studio.
